Suzuki Faculty

UVMC’s Suzuki faculty love to teach. They also recognize that teaching is a skill and an art – it doesn’t happen by accident.

In addition to traditional advanced performance degrees, UVMC’s Suzuki faculty have extensive training registered through the Suzuki Association of the Americas. Suzuki training covers not only the pedagogical points in each stage of the repertoire, but also how to use the materials as Dr. Suzuki envisioned, and how to help each child reach her/his potential.

Because life-long-learning is a priority, our faculty regularly attend professional development courses and national conferences to continue their training.

Our Suzuki faculty are also sharing their work across the United States. Multiple faculty have published in the American Suzuki Journal and have presented at the national conference for the Suzuki Association of the Americas.

At UVMC, you will have a highly-trained Suzuki specialist working with your child at every level.
