Music Education is for Everyone
We believe that everyone, no matter their financial resources, should have access to high quality music education. We offer a variety of opportunities to help everyone sing and play at Upper Valley Music Center.
Tuition assistance is awarded to a student on the basis of need, availability of funds, and commitment to music study. Students may be awarded tuition assistance for up to one set of individual lessons, one group class, and one ensemble per person per semester. Students of all ages may apply.
All information is held in strict confidence. Tuition Assistance and Work Study applications must be completed at the time of registration before the first lesson or class in order to be considered.
Applications are reviewed on a monthly basis: applications received by the 15th of the month will be reviewed and you will be notified of an award, if any, no later than the 25th of the month. A new application must be submitted for each term. The remaining balance must be paid in full or by electing a payment plan before classes begin. In order to apply for any of these opportunities, please submit a completed application and attach appropriate tax documents. Applications are available in the UVMC Office or maybe printed using the link below.
