Tuition, Fees & Discounts

Tuition

Tuition may be paid in full or by electing a payment plan and is due in advance of the first lesson or class. Registration is not complete until a payment has been made.

Payment plans and tuition assistance are available. See below for more information. All additional fees are non-refundable.

Summer Lesson Package Discounts

New Student 5 Lesson Package (20% savings): Always wanted to try an instrument or voice lessons? Summer is the perfect time to try something new. With the New Student 5 Lesson
package, try five lessons scheduled any time over the summer at a 20% savings. (Individual lessons only, must be a new UVMC student, may not be combined with other discounts, must be used during summer session.)
5 Lesson package: 30 min – $147; 45 min – $200; 60 min – $257

Continuing Student 8 Lesson Package (10% savings): As every musician knows, the most progress comes with consistent practice. In order to support the pursuit of excellence, continuing students who register for 8 or more summer lessons will receive a 10% discount in addition to any other applicable discounts. (Must be used during summer session.)

Group Classes & Ensembles

Group class and ensemble tuition varies by offering and length of session. Please visit the Online Course Catalog for pricing. Please note that tuition for group classes and ensembles cannot be pro-rated.

Summer Program Tuition

Tuition for summer programs varies by offering. Please visit the Online Course Catalog for pricing.

Fees

Registration Fee – All students pay an annual $30 registration fee (maximum $60 per family). Registration fees apply from September 1 – August 31. The registration fee does not apply to UVCO, Juneberry Community Chorus, summer programs, workshops, or master classes.

Late Fee – Registrations that are not paid partially or in full before the first lesson or class will be charged a late fee of $30.

Trial Lessons – Trial lesson fees are $36.75 for 30 minutes, $50 for 45 minutes, and $64.25 for 60 minutes.

Discounts

Families with multiple members enrolled, or a student registering for more than one program, receive a discount of 10% off their total bill. (This discount does not apply to Music Together programs. Music Theory classes do not count as ‘second’ classes for students in Individual Lessons or the Suzuki Program.)

Payment Plans

Payment plans of 2 or more payments are available by contacting the office or for group classes via online registration. If electing a payment plan, a credit card number must be held on file at UVMC. The first payment must be made before the first lesson or class. Past due payments will be charged to the card on file.
