Vivace Orchestra

Mark Nelson conducts yough ensemble performance

Learn orchestral literature and enjoy performance opportunities with this fun and educational orchestra for strings, winds and brass. Students will learn to create dynamic contrasts, shape phrases, understand how different parts work together to create the whole piece, and how to build a group sound.

Spring Dates: Please inquire with the office for information about the spring session.

Fall Dates: September 16, 23, 30; October 7, 13, 21, 28; November 4, 18; December 2, 9, 16; January 6, 13

Ages: 8 & up
Prerequisites: Play and read comfortably in the keys of C, G, D, A, F, B-flat, D min, A min and G min
Length: 13 weeks, 1 hour classes
Minimum Enrollment: 7
