Chamber Music Sight Reading Parties

Interested in playing chamber music? Missing that in-person experience and connection of playing with others? Join UVMC for a series of outdoor, socially-distanced chamber music sight reading parties. All the appropriate safety measures will be implemented so that you can enjoy the evening playing music with others!

Space is limited. Please RSVP using the form at least one week in advance so that we can place you in group and select music. If this is your first time attending a chamber music sight reading event, please contact your teacher to confirm appropriate level.

Ages: Middle school - high school students and adults
Prerequisites, Middle School Students: Play 8ths through whole notes, 2/4, 3/4, 4/4, in keys of C, G, D, A
Prerequisites, High School Students: Read positions, ability to subdivide and clap most rhythms, play in keys with 3 flats – 4 sharps
