Monthly Recitals
Students enrolled in Individual Voice Lessons have the opportunity to perform in monthly studio recitals as well as in many concerts around the Upper Valley. Piano accompaniment for recitals is provided as part of lesson tuition, and each performance, students have a 30 minute piano rehearsal included in their tuition. Additional piano accompaniment time may be purchased for lessons or coachings between lessons.
Adult students are also invited to join the Salon Recital series, a monthly small gathering for adults to share performance, conversation and food.
Group Classes
Individual Lesson students are encouraged to participate in Voice Performance Class develop musical teamwork skills, and also for the fun of making new musical friends. Private lesson students of the appropriate level may enroll in a theory class at no additional cost. Students enrolled in multiple classes receive a 10% discount (e.g. lessons plus ensemble).
Messiah Sing
With over 175 Upper Valley singers, audience members, and orchestral musicians, the UVMC presents this seasonal favorite under the expert direction of UVMC Faculty Jane Woods. UVMC voice students are featured as soloists in this performance.
