Joining the Orchestra

There are no auditions—participation is by agreement with the conductor. Players are encouraged to come to two rehearsals for free early in any session to help decide if they want to join. The orchestra’s semesters do not necessarily align 100% with UVMC’s.

Registration Fee

There’s a fee of $100 per year or part year for players, with scholarship money available to make sure no one is kept out because of cost. Please note that the fee does not cover all expenses for music, rehearsal and concert space, the conductor’s stipend, and office overhead; voluntary contributions are solicited from time to time.

Rehearsal Locations and Times

We rehearse primarily in the Lebanon Middle School Band Room in Lebnaon, NH.
