Adult Chamber Music Reading and Potluck

Interested in playing chamber music? Looking for a friendly group of musicians to play with? Not sure how to get started, or need to find the right musicians to play your favorite music? Join UVMC for a series of chamber music sight reading parties. We provide the space and the sheet music so that you can focus on enjoying playing music.

Space is limited. Please RSVP using the form at least one week in advance so that we can place you in group and select music. All instruments and voices are welcome–we will do our best to place everyone in an appropriate group.

Questions? Email our chamber music coordinator, Nic Zannoni, at chambermusic @ uvmusic.org.

Student Chamber Music Series

This year students join UVMC’s Chamber Music Coordinator Nic Zannoni one Friday a month at UVMC to make music with their friends, and eat some pizza! The repertoire will include easy Mozart quartets and popular tunes that are familiar to students. No prior preparation is required. Nic plays with the group and student parts are often doubled. These events are a low-key introduction to chamber music, playing great repertoire and work on ensemble and reading skills in a relaxed setting.

This event is open to middle and high school students who can read and play music at a Suzuki book 4 or higher level.  If this is your first time attending a chamber music sight reading event, please contact your teacher to confirm appropriate level.

Ages: Middle school - high school students and adults
Faculty : Nic Zannoni, Chamber Music Coordinator
Cost: By donation
