Mary Zantzinger is a passionate and student-centered violin teacher who believes in nurturing each musician’s unique voice through a balance of technical skill, musical expression, and personal growth. A Vermont-raised violinist and educator, Mary recently returned to the Upper Valley after performing, studying, and teaching in both the Boston area and abroad. She earned an undergraduate degree in Violin Performance from Longy School of Music and a Bachelor’s of Music from Emerson College. She later returned to Longy to complete her Master’s of Music Education. In the summer, she works abroad with the Cremona International Music Academy and Festival in Cremona, Italy. Mary currently serves as Orchestra Director at Hanover High School and Frances C. Richmond Middle School. In addition, she teaches a vibrant studio of private violin students.
