UVMC Summer Band
6:30-8:30 pm, Tuesdays & Wednesdays
Nexus Festival Performance: August 9 or 10, time tbd
The UVMC Summer Band program is designed for junior high and high school band students from around the Upper Valley. Participants rehearse weekly throughout the summer and then come together to perform at Lebanon Opera House’s annual Nexus Festival in downtown Lebanon. Band instructors from Hanover, Hartford, and Lebanon school districts collaborate as directors of the band. This program gives students the chance to keep up their skills and practice routine during the summer, meet fellow musicians from the area, and develop performance skills they can share with the community!
Concert Band: Tuesdays at Lebanon Middle School
Jazz Band: Wednesdays, Upper Valley Music Center
Cost: $50 for one band or $75 for both
Faculty: Christian Terry (Lebanon Middle School) Dominick DeFrancisco (Lebanon High School), Ian Gollub (Hanover High School) and Danielle Conerty (Hartford High School)
Ages/Grades: 7th grade graduates through recent high school graduates
