Explore the fundamentals of handbell ringing in this free workshop at Kilton Library. Members of the Upper Valley Ringers will teach the basic techniques of ringing with a bell choir. Participants will learn how to follow music arranged for this unique instrument and experience the joy of playing a part in the ensemble! 

No handbell experience required. Reading music is helpful, but not required for participation. 

This workshop will include a lot of time standing. Please let us know if you need accommodation in order to participate and we can plan accordingly. 

Ages 8 and up – young students who don’t yet read music are encouraged to attend with an adult who can help them follow along.
