Diving into Piano Masterpieces

Explore favorite piano repertoire in this exploratory session for intermediate level piano students. Each four-week session will dive into one classic from the canon, including Peter and the Wolf, Carnival of the Animals, The Magic Flute, and the Nutcracker. Students will have the chance to listen to performance, watch videos, learn sections of the music, and practice playing together. This camp will focus on exploring the music and getting to know it rather than polishing for performance, so students of different levels can all find a way to engage with the music.
Prerequisite: This camp is designed for intermediate level piano students who are working on Faber level 2b and up. For students working on Faber 2A, ask their teachers. Please contact the office if you have questions about the appropriate level.
