Beginning Keyboard Skills
This class will give beginners the chance to learn basic keyboard skills, music theory, and technique in a small group. Classes take place in UVMC’s keyboard lab, outfitted with a keyboard and headset for each student and teacher to maximize the time spent playing in each class, allow the teacher to give each student individual feedback, and facilitate playing together as a group. The class is designed for beginners to get a basic introduction to keyboard skills and music theory that can be applied in piano lessons or transferred to other instruments or musical study. Enrollment includes weekly class and a book.
