What is the difference between a violin and a fiddle?
They are essentially the same instrument. The difference is mainly in how they are played. When people say violin they’re usually talking about classical music, and fiddle generally refers to folk music. Sometimes players use a different type of bridge and strings.

Do you offer lesson on banjo? mandolin? accordion?
At this time we only offer one-on-one lessons on fiddle, ukulele, guitar. But please inquire if you are interested in another instrument! Knowing what people would like helps us plan when we are hiring new faculty members.
