Sing & Play Festival 2024 Recap
Congratulations to everyone who participated in Sing & Play Festival 2024! Student performers, family and friend supporters, and faculty, staff, and volunteers celebrated music by and for each other in performances, sing-alongs, and jams throughout the weekend. This festival was a culmination of a full year of practice, learning, and growth, and a celebration of the power of music in our community.
Thank you! to the volunteers who folded programs, set up risers, served popcorn, and cleaned up so that everyone could enjoy a fun day of music-making. Congratulations to performers and the teachers and parents who helped them get ready for their big moment. To everyone who was in audience, whether in person or tuning in online, thank you for your enthusiastic support!

UVMC Sing and Play Festival
In one weekend of events, Sing & Play Festival represents a whole year of music that includes more than 1,500 people of all ages attending weekly classes, lessons, and rehearsals, practicing daily, learning from master teachers in workshops and masterclasses, and experiencing and sharing the impact of music in their lives.
To help continue music education programs that serve our community in the year ahead, we have an opportunity to earn a matching challenge gift of $50,000 from the Jack and Dorothy Byrne Foundation.
