New Collaborations in Fall 2025
Upper Valley Music Center works with more than 70 partner organizations each year to create programs that wouldn’t be possible on their own, bringing music education to more corners of the Upper Valley community.
This fall, Upper Valley Music Center has three new programs in the works which have been developed in collaboration with partner organizations. We’re grateful for their partnership, and excited to bring these new offerings to the Upper Valley!
African Percussion Workshop & Ensemble
Ensemble: Tuesdays, October 7-29
This course will introduce participants to West African music polyrhythms through the balafon, a traditional African wooden xylophone, led by Mamadou Diabate, an adjunct professor at Dartmouth College

The Aphasia Choir of the Upper Valley
A partnership between Upper Valley Music Center and Dartmouth Health, the Aphasia Choir is a singing ensemble for individuals who experience speech loss due to stroke or TBI, along with their caregivers.
