2025 Hanover Street Chamber Music Festival

The Hanover Street Chamber Music Festival is an opportunity for adult instrumentalists and singers to receive professional coaching, meet other classical musicians in the area, and get a chance to perform chamber music repertoire. Each group is assigned based on experience and playing level, and receives coaching from UVMC faculty in a supportive environment. The festival culminates in an informal performance where everyone shares what they have learned.

Registration: Interested musicians should contact Chamber Music Coordinator Nic Zannoni at chambermusic@uvmusic.org. UVMC will place as many participants into groups as possible, based on the instrumentation and playing level of potential group members. (Please note we cannot guarantee a group for every individual musician, but we will do our best!) Each confirmed group will be assigned to a faculty coach, and rehearsals and the final concert are scheduled based on participant and coach availability.

Each group meets between 6-10 hours over the course of the summer with their faculty coach. Tuition is based on group size and total coaching time; payment is due when groups are assigned.
