Continuing Fiddle
Are you a violinist who is new to traditional music and wants to get the fiddle-y sound? Or maybe you’ve been trying to learn at home but need feedback to move forwards. We’ll learn tunes at a gentle pace by ear (with written music backup), from the Irish, Old Time, New England, and French Canadian traditions, and stop along the way to explore style questions and technique issues.
Not sure about your level, or wondering if this is the right level for you? Please contact erin@uvmusic.org or complete our New Student Inquiry Form and we will help you find the right fiddle fit!
Prerequisite: advanced beginner/intermediate skill level
Length: 12 weeks, 1 hour classes
Minimum Enrollment: 4
Faculty: Amy Cann
