Community Chorus at UVMC

Singing in community brings joy to all involved!

The Community Chorus at Upper Valley Music Center brings together singers from all walks of life to share in the joy of choral singing. No audition is required, and singers of all experience levels are encouraged to join. The Chorus offers many opportunities to grow in vocal technique, musicality, personal expression, and meaningful friendships—all within a fun choral community.

Chorus members can choose between two weekly rehearsal options—Tuesday evenings in Lebanon or Thursday mornings in Norwich. The two groups come together for a half-day retreat each semester and for concerts in November and April. In May, the Chorus brings its music to the community with performances at assisted living and other community centers.

All Chorus members have access to professional practice tracks to make part-learning more accessible and efficient. Enrollment is open in September and January each year, but visitors are welcome anytime!

We sing to build community and wellness, drawing on a range of engaging choral repertoire to nourish, invigorate, empower, and connect.
