Singing in community brings joy to all involved!

The Community Chorus at Upper Valley Music Center aims to create a welcoming space where singers of all abilities can enjoy the art of choral singing in a fun choral community. We sing to build community and wellness, drawing on an eclectic variety of choral music to nourish, invigorate, empower, and connect. Weekly rehearsals take place in two locations, with morning and evening options available. The full chorus meets together once a month. Concerts are shared twice yearly with the UVMC Children’s Chorus and/or other UVMC ensembles. Community performance opportunities are available to those who wish to perform more often.

You choose which weekly rehearsal to attend, but whenever your schedule demands a change, you are welcome to switch rehearsal days.

Fall 2023 Dates:

Rehearsals begin September 20
Combined Rehearsals: 10/14, 11/4, 12/2, 1/13
The performance for fall 2023 will be on Friday, January 19, at 7:00pm at the First Congregational Church in Lebanon, 10 S Park St, Lebanon, NH.

Spring 2024 Dates:

Spring 2024: Rehearsals begin January 24
Combined Rehearsals: March 9, April 20, May 11
Performance May 18, Details TBA

Length: 90 minute rehearsals; 15 weeks plus Saturdays monthly
