Are you looking to get that bluesy sound on your instrument? In this class you’ll learn the traditional 12 bar structures in both urban and Delta blues styles. You’ll also get a chance to work through blues based standards like “Nobody Knows You When You’re Down And Out” and Gershwin’s “Summertime.” This class is appropriate for advanced beginner to advanced guitar players. A knowledge of basic bar chords and basic major scales will be helpful.

Ages: 16 and up
Length: 10 weeks, 1 hour classes
Cost: $195
Minimum/Maximum Enrollment: 4/10
Faculty: Draa Hobbs
Make-up: If needed, a make-up class will be offered April 25.
