Upper Valley Music Center teacher Draa Hobbs is joined by John Stowell for a concert of jazz music for guitar. Based on the west coast, Stowell has been an artist-in-residence at schools in Germany, Indonesia, Argentina, the United States and Canada, and has performed for more than 30 years with his duo partner bassist David Friesen.

“He plays his amplified guitar as if he were surrounded by fine crystal… the type of slow burning, sustained energy that you hear in players that practice all the time.” Downbeat Magazine
