Join us for a free lunch-time concert with one of UVMC’s newest faculty members, pianist Bruce Sklar. Bruce has been living, performing, and teaching music in Vermont since 1983. His jazz compositions have been a staple in the Vermont jazz scene, and have been featured in many recordings and including “Stepping Out” with the Sneakers Jazz Band, ” Passing Through” with The Sklar/Grippo Sextet, and ” Three Days in August” by the Bruce Sklar Trio. In this concert he is joined by familiar faces to local jazz fams, Ben Kogan on bass and Tim Gilmore on drums. This concert is part of UVMC’s “A Little Lunch Music” series, presented for free and open to the community.
