Allison Whiteside Pollard, MT-BC, is a classically trained soprano, choral director, music educator, and board-certified music therapist. Following her graduation from Miami of Ohio, Allison performed with Cincinnati-area professional choirs, including solos in Haydn’s Creation and Handel’s Samson. She has also performed in many musical theater and operatic productions including Carmen with Opera North and Leonard Bernstein’s MASS with Cincinnati May Festival. Allison taught K-5th grade general elementary music and graduated from Lesley University with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Music Therapy. She also has teaching experience abroad as she taught English through the arts throughout Italy, earning her TEFL-LP certification. She recently became board certified in music therapy and is excited looking forward to introducing this practice to the Upper Valley.
