Rhythm Kids by Music Together® Online

UVMC’s interactive, high-energy Rhythm Kids Online class taps into how kids learn. Music games, rhythm pattern play, drumming, and more engage their creativity—and inspire them to explore their musicality in new ways, both during and outside class.
During each weekly Zoom class, kids have a blast singing, dancing, and jamming to rhythms and tunes inspired by musical traditions around the world. UVMC’s teachers will facilitate group and individual activities that encourage students to experience musical concepts with their own bodies, while also inviting/inspiring them to lead their fellow classmates with movement and rhythm.
By the end of the semester, they’ll be proud to show off all the new skills they’ve mastered!
UVMC’s Rhythm Kids class includes:
- A weekly 45 minute Zoom class, with a limited number of families so that each class can build strong connections among parents, children, and teachers
- The hard-copy songbook, plus digital family resources (recordings and bonus activities through Music Together’s award-winning Hello Everybody app), plus Rhythm Kids drumming videos from Music Together Worldwide, that will inspire you to make music all day.
- Suggestions of musical activities that you and your family can incorporate into every day of the week, delivered in a weekly email.

Length: 10 weeks, 45 minute classes
Cost: $175 one child; $65 sibling rate
Fees: Postage fee may apply for shipping materials
Minimum/Maximum Enrollment: 5/12 families

*Note On Ages & Family Tuition
Rhythm Kids Online is designed for ages 4-6. All family members and children of all ages are invited to participate in activities, but the activities will be pedagogically aimed at the developmental needs of this targeted age group and the teacher will not be able to adjust to accommodate younger children’s needs. For a multi-aged interactive experience that incorporates younger children, we encourage families to consider the Music Together Online Mixed-Age class.
If you have multiple children in the 4-6 age range, please register each child using the sibling discount. If you have multiple children but only one between 4-6, just register one child.
