Lisa Piccirillo Music Together facultySince she was a kid, Lisa Piccirillo has been singing and performing in musical theater as well as in choirs and a cappella groups. An Elementary Education major at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY, Lisa worked in preschool classrooms and taught fourth grade after graduation. She has toured nationally as a singer/songwriter, performing original music in legendary venues across the country as a solo artist and as a member of various bands, namely Hotels & Highways and the Gregory Douglass Band. Lisa plays guitar, ukulele, piano and percussion instruments, but considers vocal harmony her specialty and has been invited to lend her voice to a number of recordings over the years in addition to her solo debut (Momentum 2008) and releases by Hotels & Highways (Lost River 2011 & Greetings from Wilbraham 2012). She and her husband, bassist Seth Barbiero, can be seen performing around the Upper Valley and beyond with their rock cover band, The Tricksters, or found at home in Norwich, VT with their baby, Luca, working on their recording studio-to-be. Lisa is thrilled to be teaching at the UVMC, having received her Music Together certification in 2015 at the MT headquarters in Hopewell, NJ. Lisa Piccirillo has been singing her whole life. She has toured the country performing as a solo artist and as a member of Hotels & Highways.
