A Little Lunch Music: Jeremiah McLane and Eric Boodman
12:00 pm to 1:00 pm EST
Event Navigation
A free lunchtime concert featuring French Canadian music for fiddle, accordion, and feet. Bring a friend or a coworker and join us in the Bach Room.
Eric Boodman fell in love with Québécois fiddle music while growing up in Montreal. He drove his high school teachers crazy by practicing foot percussion under his desk, and now lives in Somerville, Mass., playing as much music as possible with the Scandinavian-influenced trio Triga, the Canadian-American party-band Calico, and whoever else has a hankering for crooked tunes.
Jeremiah McLane is a composer, accordionist, pianist and teacher with a diverse musical background including blues, jazz, Celtic, Québécois, French and other roots influenced music. He has performed throughout the United States, Canada and Europe, in bands such as The Clayfoot Strutters, Nightingale, The Goat Broke Loose, Allos Musica, Le Bon Vent, and Wheezer & Squeezer.
