UVMC Welcomes New Faculty Member Chloe Brisson
UVMC is happy to welcome Chloe Brisson to the voice faculty.
Chloe Louise Brisson is a New Hampshire born vocalist and composer who specializes in Jazz, Folk, Blues, and Americana styles. While being mentored by Sheila Jordan and Fred Haas in her early years, Chloe performed at the 2013 Grammy Awards and toured during the Jazz Over The Volga Festival in Yaroslavl, Russia. She went on to study with Dominique Eade, Jason Moran and Dave Holland while attending the New England Conservatory of Music. In 2016 Brisson was awarded an SMA Downbeat Award for Best Undergraduate Vocalist and performed at the internationally acclaimed Panama Jazz Festival.
Chloe will launch her UVMC teaching career with a class on songwriting, which begins October 17.
