Sing & Play Festival 2023 Recap

Congratulations to everyone who participated in Sing & Play Festival 2023! Student performers, family and friend supporters, and faculty, staff, and volunteers came together to celebrate music by and for each other in recitals, sing-alongs, jams, and dancing.  The weekend was a culmination of a full year of fun and hard work and a celebration of how many people make music throughout our community.

Thank you! to the volunteers who folded programs, set up tents, served popcorn, and cleaned up in the pouring rain so that everyone could enjoy a day of fun activities. Congratulations to performers and the teachers and parents who helped them get ready for their big moment. To everyone who was in audience, whether in person or tuning in online, thank you for your enthusiastic support!

While Sing & Play Festival is one weekend, it represents a whole year of music that includes more than 1,000 people of all ages practicing, attending classes, lessons, rehearsals, and special events with guest artists, and experiencing the deep and far reaching impact of music in their lives.

To help continue high quality music programs in the year ahead, we have an opportunity to earn a matching challenge gift of $50,000 from the Jack and Dorothy Byrne Foundation. Could you support music in our community with a gift to help meet this challenge? All gifts made by June 30 will count!
