Community Chorus at UVMC welcomes Interim Director
Welcome New Faculty Member Annie Arrington
After a thoughtful process of reflection about how to carry forward the vision and mission of the Juneberry Community Chorus, chorus members affirmed the value of having a welcoming, inclusive community chorus in the Upper Valley, and elected to continue the chorus as the Community Chorus at Upper Valley Music Center. The Steering Committee has hired Annie Arrington as Interim Choral Director. All are invited to meet Annie this December and join choral singing classes in January as we work toward the re-launch of the Community Chorus.
Annie Arrington
Annie Arrington is a passionate music educator and mother of three. She and her husband of almost 20 years have lived in Idaho, Mississippi, Washington, Georgia, and New Hampshire. She has held a variety of teaching, conducting, and leadership positions over the years, including high school and church choir, private voice and piano, and small business administration. She is also a choral composer, songwriter, and avid researcher of the singing voice. Annie’s work, both professionally and in her personal life, is inspired and motivated by a strong love for people and her desire to bring joy to those she serves.
Choral Singing
Tuesdays 9:30-10:30 am OR 5:45-6:45 pm
Sing together with an ensemble while building choral skills and vocal technique.
