Voice Performance Class
Mornings: 11 am - 12 pm
Evenings*: 5:45 - 6:45 pm
Music study involves taking lessons, practicing alone, and performing, but students can only practice performing by doing it in front of others! This engaging and supportive class offers an opportunity for students to develop confidence as performers, and welcomes all experience levels. In each class session, students will perform all or part of a solo currently in progress, work through rehearsal/audition/performance etiquette, and learn new ways of managing performance energy. This class will give students enrolled in individual instruction the chance to use their skills in a performance setting, and also welcomes singers who are looking for a supportive feedback group.
*The evening class welcomes both voice and instrumental students to develop performance skills. See Performance Prep for Soloists for more details.
Length: 10 weeks, 1 hour classes
Minimum Enrollment: 4
Faculty: Jennifer Hansen, Julie Ness, Will Ogmundson
