Performance Prep Class for Soloists
Spring 2024: February 6-April 23
Music study involves taking lessons, practicing alone, and performing, but we can only practice performing by doing it!
This engaging and supportive class offers an opportunity for new and experienced performers to develop confidence and explore repertoire. While musical selections are meant to be works currently in progress, it is expected that the performers feel comfortable with the notes and rhythms of their repertoire selection.
During each session, we will get feedback from other students, work through rehearsal/audition/performance etiquette, and learn new ways of managing performance energy based on clinically-developed performance psychology strategies.
