Rhythm Kids® by Music Together®
Level 1: Sundays, 2:30 pm
Drum, sing, and dance! In Rhythm Kids® classes, students explore rhythm by playing with music from around the world in weekly, 45-minute classes. Music Together-trained teachers lead dynamic classroom activities designed especially for preschoolers and early elementary students. As they drum, sing, and move to new rhythms, children naturally build musicality that helps them prepare for formal music lessons. Opportunities to solo, work in ensembles, and improvise also support social and listening skills, self-expression, and self-confidence.
The discovery continues at home with a songbook, digital access to the award-winning music used in class, and the interactive Rhythm Kids videos.
This year we are offering two levels of the Rhythm Kids experience, depending on your child’s age:
Level 1 classes are for children ages 4-6, and parent participation is expected, just like in a Music Together class.
Level 2 classes are for children grades K-2, or approximately ages 5-8. Parent participation in class is encouraged and optional. Level 1 is not a prerequisite for enrolling in Level 2; any child who can participate in class independently is welcome.

Wednesdays: 4 pm with Erin
Faculty: Music Together Faculty
Length: 10 weeks, 45 minute classes
Cost: $195, $75 for additional sibling*
Minimum/Maximum Enrollment: 6/12

*Note on Ages
Rhythm Kids activities will be pedagogically aimed at the developmental needs of this targeted age group (4-6 years old) and the teacher will not be able to adjust to accommodate younger children’s needs. For a multi-aged interactive experience that incorporates younger children, we encourage families to consider the Music Together Online Mixed-Age class.
If you have multiple children in the 4-6 age range, please register each child using the sibling discount. We ask that you attend only with the child in that age range and not bring along younger siblings (excluding infants-in-arms, who are always welcome).
