Music Together Babies™

No fall class; check back for winter dates.
Wednesdays: 12 pm
Online via Zoom
Caregivers and babies respond to music.

The one-semester Music Together® Babies Class was created especially for families with infants under nine months old. That’s right: It’s never too early to start our music classes!

Maybe you’ve noticed that your baby responds when you play a song in the car or sing to soothe them. Babies are naturally musical—and you don’t have to be a great singer or dancer yourself to nurture their love of music. In this music class for new parents, your Music Together teacher will show you how you can support your baby’s music development through simple and fun activities. You’ll learn lots of musical ways to connect with your little one through music, and you’ll bond with the other new parents in your class, too.

This class will be offered online via Zoom. Babies are not expected to look at the screen during class, and parents can participate even if baby is sleeping. Your teacher will guide you through activities and share resources that can help you integrate music throughout the day.

Registration in the Babies class includes:

  • A weekly 45-minute Zoom class, with a limited number of families so that each class can build strong connections among parents, children, and teachers
  • Pre-recorded songs and other fun videos created by UVMC Music Together teachers, released each week on a private page so that you can enjoy them at your convenience
  • The beautifully illustrated hard-copy songbook, CD, and digital resources (recordings and bonus activities through Music Together’s award-winning Hello Everybody app)
  • Suggestions of musical activities that you and your family can incorporate into every day of the week, delivered in a weekly email.

This class is offered in partnership with Dartmouth-Hitchcock’s Women’s Health Resource Center.
