Creative Arranging For Guitar

This course introduces the student to the basics for creating beautiful chord melody arrangements for any song. If you have ever wondered how musicians create beautiful instrumental versions of your favorite songs this course is for you! Together we will begin by exploring the amazing possibilities the guitar is capable of using simple three and four note chords on a familiar song by the Beatles. Guided by the instructor, students will eventually create their own arrangements to their favorite songs in a hands on, workshop environment.
A basic knowledge of open position major and minor chords is the only prerequisite.

No class on October 12 or 19

Ages: 16 and up
Length: 10 weeks, 1 hour classes
