Composition: Tunes & Songs

This class is for those who currently write tunes, those who never have but would like to get started, and for those who have been writing tunes for a very long time and would like to get some feedback on their compositions.  We’ll work on writing melodies, harmonization, variation, repetition, and other techniques for making your tunes come alive. Each week we’ll take a look at pieces the class is working on, both assignment exercises and original compositions students bring to class. There are no style/genre limitations, songs as well as instrumental pieces welcome.
