UVMC welcomes internationally-renowned violinist Jennifer Koh for a violin masterclass and a conversation about her work in expanding the contemporary violin repertoire. Koh will offer guidance on interpretation and technique to UVMC student performers, and then sit down with UVMC faculty to discuss her approach to new music and to working with contemporary composers.  This event is offered in conjunction with Jennifer Koh’s Hopkins Center for the Arts performance on Wednesday, January 15.

This event is presented as part of Upper Valley Music Center’s 30th anniversary celebration, and offered with flexible admission pricing so all students and community members have the opportunity to observe instruction from a master teacher and performer.
