Get excited about making music this fall at our open house. Meet faculty, learn more about programs, tour the building, and register for fall classes.

Meet Faculty UVMC faculty members including Nic Zannoni, Susan Downing, Judy Wild, Lisa Carlson, Amy Cann, Patricia Norton, Katie Kitchel, Fred Haas of Interplay Jazz, and more will be here to meet you and tell you all about UVMC programs!

Youth Orchestra Wondering which orchestra your child will best fit into? Come meet ensemble director Nic Zannoni, bring your instrument and play together, and we’ll help place you into the right ensemble. Sign up for a time slot or just show up!
3:30-5 pm – Seeger Room

Music Together Try a free demo of a mixed age Music Together class. This class is designed for children ages birth-5 years, with a caregiver. We’ll sing, play, and dance together to songs from the upcoming Flute collection and other favorites!
3:45-4:30 – Elgar Room

Vocal Exploration – Whether you’re brand new to singing or looking to develop your voice, this class will make you a more comfortable and confident singer. Try a free demo with Patricia Norton.
5-6 pm – Elgar Room

Slow Jam Play some traditional tunes at an easy tempo with Amy Cann. All acoustic instruments welcome!
5-6 pm – Bach Room

Instrument Petting Zoo Vermont Violins and UVMC faculty will be on hand with instruments for you to try out!
3-6 pm – Front Lawn
