Upper Valley Music Center’s Suzuki program presents a special edition of the Suzuki showcase concert to celebrate our 30th anniversary. This concert features more than 100 students ages 3-18 performing on cello, harp, viola, and violin. Special guests Villalobos Brothers and their band will join the UVMC students on stage as the culmination of a full-year educational residency. The concert will bring together the Villalobos Brothers’ tradition of son jarocho music from their home state of Veracruz, the brothers’ original compositions, Suzuki repertoire, and American fiddle tunes. This event is the culmination of UVMC’s Sing & Play 30 for 30, 30 hours of continuous music demonstrating the importance of music in our community!

This concert is part of a partnership with the West Claremont Center for the Arts, funded in part by the New England States Touring program of the New England Foundation for the Arts, made possible with funding from the National Endowment for the Arts Regional Touring Program and the six New England state arts agencies.
