Fiddle Tune Fridays

Fall 2023: TBA
Fridays 4-5 pm
Fall Semester: October 7, November 4, January 20
Spring 2023: February 3, March 3, April 7, May 5

This is a once a month drop in group for kids ages 8-13 who wants to learn fiddle tunes and play them in a group. Fiddles, guitars, and any other instruments who want to join the fun. We’ll learn melodies, chords, and practice playing in an ensemble together. Beginners to traditional music as well as those who already know some tunes are welcome. This group is designed for students who already play an instrument (not total beginners). Fiddle Tune Fridays will take place on the same days as UVMC Slow Jams. Participants are invited to stick around to play more tunes with the larger group if they wish.

Swallowtail Jig

Dancing Bear
My Own Home
