Pocket Song Singers

Sundays 4-5 pm and/or Tuesdays 10-11 am

Patricia Norton Singing

Sing songs with us taught in a way that works for online music-making! In this time of distancing and uncertainty, many of us long for the comfort and hope of singing. Patricia Norton of UVMC’s Juneberry Choral Program has launched the Pocket Song Singers; online singing sessions open to the whole Upper Valley community and beyond. Sing short, satisfying songs that are easy to learn aurally and work while singing alone or in a group. In the Zoom sessions online you’ll be able to sing along with Patricia, who will use looping, call-and-response, and movement to build a communal singing experience.  Fresh songs are chosen with a slant toward wellness, presence, and lightness of being. When we’re able to be in groups again, UVMC will host a gathering of friends and neighbors to sing our new bank of pocket songs in person.

Class will meet online via Zoom. Your registration confirmation will contain specific login instructions.

Participation by donation–we recognize that many are experiencing financial hardship at this time. Voluntary donations will support the work of the Upper Valley Music Center.
