Conversation with Susanna Ogata

Join UVMC and Upper Valley Baroque for an informal conversation with Susanna Ogata, concertmaster and soloist for the upcoming concert, moderated by Ben Van Vliet and Mark Nelson of UVMC. Susanna will share her story of how she came to be a professional violinist, some insights about the Italian Baroque music she will be playing (including demonstrating on her violin), and differences between Baroque and modern violin. The conversation will include time for a Q&A with the audience. The event will also be streamed live on Zoom.

This event is programmed in conjunction with the upcoming Upper Valley Baroque concert on January 28 & 29. Complimentary tickets are available for UVMC students; please contact the office for details.
