Joanna Nelson, Program Director
Joanna received a B.M. in Music Education from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN where she studied viola and voice. She was a young Suzuki student herself and did her Suzuki Teacher training with Joanne Melvin, Rebecca Sandrok and Ann Montzka-Smelser. Joanna also maintains a studio of private violin, and viola students and conducts the choir at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Hanover.

Jan has been with UVMC since 2005 and has greatly added to the capabilities of the UVMC in serving its clientele.
